Group Activities
Wednesday Social Group
RANCARE Connect runs a social group on Wednesdays that focuses on activities that promote socialisation, skill building and independence.
Participants are encouraged to contribute to weekly planning to enhance learning opportunities for life skill development.
Men's Group
RANCARE Connect offers a Men‘s Only group. Each Thursday this group starts the day with karate, focusing on fitness, strength, balance, coordination and respect, whilst also learning self-defence techniques.
The group then move onto an afternoon of woodwork where they gain skills that can assist them with daily living and work skills.
Travel Training
Here at RANCARE Connect, we offer programs such as Safe Travel Practice where our participants learn to plan and travel on public transport with confidence. Through this program, participants develop skills in managing uncomfortable situations and keeping safe on public transport.
Craft Group
RANCARE Connect offers a weekly Craft Group that encourages creativity, socialisation and skill building. Participants work on a variety of guided and self-directed projects in a relaxed and supportive environment, providing a great opportunity to learn new skills and connect with others.
