Kickstart Your Independent Living
At RANCARE Connect, we are committed to empowering young people with disabilities to take greater control of their lives. Our supportive one-year Kickstart Program is designed to help participants build confidence, develop practical life skills, and prepare for future employment — all at their own pace.
Our Kickstart Program focuses on building everyday independence while preparing participants for the future. From learning cooking and household skills to gaining hands-on work experience and developing job-ready skills, the program supports participants to take meaningful steps towards independent living and employment. Participants will also have the opportunity to obtain recognised certificates, including RSA, Food Handling, and Barista Basics.

Our vision is to provide learning for life, making independence real and achievable at the participant’s pace. We hope through our program our participants can gain confidence, independent living skills, decision-making skills, positive social behaviours and safe travel skills to enhance their lives and enjoy the challenges.
The Kickstart Program is ideal for school leavers and young adults looking to build independence, gain real-world experience, and explore employment pathways. Limited places available.
